iOS gets the major update from Google for Google Map. With these update now Map gets integrated with Google Contacts which allow user to search contact's address on map by just searching their name. It also get the local search improvement by narrowing option by choosing from categories like restaurant, ATMs etc.
The best part of these update is, Google Maps will import all your contact's address from Google account so the iPhone user not have to carry contact's address with them. iPhone user have to sign into Google when using Google Maps to work this feature anymore.
User can explore nearby places by going "Nearby Places" section to discover new places which is the nearby user from where user searching. This categories lists with restaurant, bars, hotels, gas stations, post offices and many more. The feature will help you in you hometown and even in the location if roaming and note familiar with it.
Earlier Apple was ditched Google Map to launch their own mapping solution with iOS in September. Along with is YouTube also get ditched on iOS platform but Google immediately released their own YouTube app to get back on spot.
